Liz & Rick's Excellent Adventure

Here we are standing in front of the granite we picked for our kitchen. We'll need 4 slabs this size to complete the work. Overall- we'll have approx. 3 tons of granite installed in the house.
Here is the view from the warehouse. Rows of beautiful granite from all over the world. Planet earth is amazing!
The tile in the master bath is going in. I may need to rethink the paint color in those rooms.
Here are views from the lower level cabin room (notice the paint swatch), the laundry room and the fireplace mantel.

The landscaping was done today, we hope to have the sod laid by end of the week (weather permitting).

Very Exciting Times!

A lot of progress was made last week. The column near the front door was installed and is being prepared for paint. Scroll down and see what else we've been working on . . . . .
The bistro has the final coat of paint so once the gas is turned on we'll have a fire!

The family room serves as a staging area for Rick's office. He'll have more room for books and decoys once these are finished.

The tile in the lower level was installed and we love it! This is a guest powder room.

This is one wall of the cabinets being installed in the lower level or as we say, Rick's cabin room.

For all of my girl friends out there- here is a sneak peek at my closet/dressing room.

A Room with a View

The bistro fireplace is complete. Once the walls are painted it will be complete.

Some Assembly Required!

I apologize for the lack of posts during the last week. There is a lot going on inside the house and we weren't able to get in to take pictures until just recently. The wood floors are in and the arches in each of the doorways is going up! There are huge piles of trim sitting everywhere.
