Delhi Divas

The name was developed years ago from the annual boating trip to Delhi.  For more than 30 years we've been friends to celebrate life and support one another during loss.  Last year Shelley moved to Tulsa so it's more difficult to get together but after Christmas we met to catch up.

We spent Christmas Eve with Debbie & Randy & family.  Our extended family continues to grow and it's challenging to get all of the kids in the photo.  Here they are from ages 35 to 4 years old.  Next year we welcome 2 more; Sarah and Elizabeth's new babies due in the spring!

Nicole, me and Scott.  I don't get to see them very often and never at the same time so I hold on tight.  I'm tilting my head trying to imitate Nicole as that is her signature move.  Looks better on her!

I began decorating the week of Thanksgiving but it wasn't without its problems. Just as the last decoration was hung timber .......the leg on the stand bent and the tree came down.  Of course Rick wasn't home so I had to wait until later in the day to get help to put it into a new stand.  I really needed a glass a wine by then!

Our world has been turned upside down these past 4 weeks.  The girls have the same Dad.  Rick couldn't pass up the opportunity to have another puppy although training during the winter has its challenges.  Sophie has doubled in size since we brought her home from Alabama.  She now weighs 14 pounds.
